Bad Luck for Continental

Continental 1404 caught fire while departing Denver International Airport bound for Houston Intercontinental Airport today. The aircraft, a Boeing 737, skidded off the runway and into a ravine before bursting into flames. There are no critical injuries or fatalities reported.

In Albany, NY, a Continental Express Embraer 145 operated by ExpressJet Airways skidded into a snowbank while taxiing.
