My first ride on a streetcar/trolley was in 2000 in New Orleans....(although, these photos are not from that year, but some more recent trips I made to New Orleans)        Haha, during one of the Mardis Gras parades this past February, they also had a "fake" trolley as one of the floats running on the parade route....interestingly over the normal streetcar tracks on St Charles Ave. The streetcars of course are suspended during parade hours. Semi-on topic...the streetcar tracks are here...lol:          |
