While I think abortion is wrong, and is killing a baby, I also believe a woman has a right to chose whether SHE wants to have one or not. I do not have the right to impose my view on it on others, and the government certainly doesn't either on the matter.HOWEVER, I have a REAL problem with this statement in that article: could force doctors in Catholic hospitals to perform abortions against their conscience The govermnent has ABSOLUTELY NO RIGHT to make a doctor that doesn't believe in abortions to force them to do them, NOR does it have the right to make Catholic hospitals FORCED to do that. IMPOSING that belief or forcing people to perform abortions is JUST as WRONG as the government deciding a woman doesn't have the right to chose, perhaps even worse. |
