Hasn't been my own experience, and there's a LOT of faithful (and peaceful) Muslims around here. He was just one of them. And yes, the bigotry is pretty severe. Sikhs from India are routinely harassed and beaten, even people of Hispanic and Jewish origin who happen to "look wrong." :( |
