Israel has had it fairly easy for most of its existence when it comes to dealing with it's enemies. All of the Arabs it has fought have been (a) cowardly, or (b) militarily incompetent, or (c) in most cases, both cowardly and militarily incompetent. All that's changed with Hezbollah. Say what you want about the Hezzies, they're courageous and pretty decent fighters. And the Israelis just don't know how to deal with them.My LIRR/NYCT blog |
