How about considering his not calling the police as soon as he saw them, and his brandishing an illegal gun, which he claimed went off "accidentally"?Putting the word accidentally in quotes borders on libel. The DA never charged him with murder, which would have been the appropriate charge if there was a claim that the gun was deliberately discharged. The point of manslaughter (which is what the DA charged him with) is that he was reckless in having a loaded gun there in the first place. |
