People can be discriminated against for being overweight, old, having a New York/Brooklynese accent, the college the went to, etc.....You don't know how serious the Brooklyn accent issue can be.I can promise you the black CEO of Time Warner Cable can hail a cab, even though he has his own limo. Liberals suck. They are only interested in a cause that allows them to think for other people. You're average liberal who has taken the "black cause" does so to separate himself from the "other whites" that he does not want to be associated with. They're all about feeling important about themselves. These liberals come from the least diverse backgrounds in terms of schooling, the neighborhood they come from, and social networking. They always seem to live in the least diverse neighborhoods. Blacks have been in this country since it was born, and have fought for America in every war we've been in. Discrimination has obviously hurt them. But the fights black leaders pick only hurt race relations. Making a race issue out of the proposed NBA dress code is a great example. Wasting energy on these issues distracts from issues that need to be addressed. |
