I generally like to stay behind the scenes here at SubChat. I operate these boards as a hobby at my expense out of my own pocket because I enjoy doing so.I do not believe in censoring the boards, but sometimes I need to send a thread or part of a thread to the reef to end bickering. I try to stay neutral, and try to keep the trimming to a minimum. One of the few times that I will delete a post rather that moving it to the reef, or locking it, is in the case where someone posts private information, or a photo of someone’s family member on the board, and I receive a request to remove it, I will honor that request, I play no favorites. I may let things go a little further in OTchat that I would in SubChat or BusChat. I have removed posts containing private information at Brian’s request, and I have deleted posts made by Brian that contained private information about other posters. Like I said I play no favorites. About the Transit Photo King of the west coast- I really liked his photos, and he had a lot to contribute to these boards. I wouldn’t mind meeting up with him when he is in town and go rail fanning with him, but I warned him several times, about KKK this and lynching that in every other post. I suspended him quite a few times and gave him many chances, told him to cool down, but he became too disruptive to these boards, and was taking up too much of my time cleaning out threads, so I had to ban him. I have no idea why Kevin thinks he has been banned, he has not been. It was he who requested that his account be canceled: http://www.subchat.com/otchat/read.asp?Id=265340 "I'll make this my last since I've sent the destruct email to cancel my account." I don't know why he's sending people emails saying he's been banned and having them ask to to reinstate his account? I've met Kevin and I think he's a cool guy. A little wacky but cool :-) "I'm phucking DONE now because Unca LARRY has no balls" Hey Unca Kev, if you're reading this, I hope you don't take this the wrong way, but why don't you grow a pair and email me, and ask to have you account re-activated yourself, if you changed your mind? (you have my email) Unca Kev, your account has been re-activated if you'd like to post. Folks, don't take this board too seriously, and think twice before posting. I'm going to sleep now, will read the responses tomorrow. |
