My job is heavy passenger rail and I come home dead tired so I don't have time/strength to monitor. I try to 'touch base' here as I can. Sad to hear of this incident.BTW: I coined 'UNCA' as a term of respect and endearment for certain persons of NYCTA or rail experience....not a term lightly assigned to strangers. Unca Selkirk and Unca Train Dude earned my respect a long time ago. I'm 'serious rail'......FRA certified Car Inspector.......I will not sign off a trainset to RTO with defects even if it goes back to customer PI.....I have the last word overiding supervision as FRA inspector. |
