Banning media people or organizations are nothing new. In 2009, President Obama attempted to remove a Fox news reporter from a multi network press pool. In 2023, the Biden administration tried an end run at banning media people by updating administrative regs. and background checks rules for permanent "hard pass' press credentials reducing the number from 1417 to 975. |
