The reason South Brooklyn has some Republican pockets is because of the Asian and Russian-Jewish populations.BINGO! With the Asians its also about the schools. Democrats lost the Asian vote by coming out against the SHSAT and being in favor of affirmative action, which detriments Asians. I used the term urban ethnic. Asians are a good example. But they're not outnumbered. It's just that for the Revolutionary Beckies, the DSA is their church and come out to vote during the election that normal people aren't even aware is happening. |
