To both Spider-Pig and DaNd124.

The reason South Brooklyn has some Republican pockets is because of the Asian and Russian-Jewish populations.

Asians have been very vocal about issues Democrats support, like migrant hotels in their neighborhoods. And don't forget the wave of Asian hate crimes a few years ago. This really got Asians out to vote against liberal candidates.

But these "urban ethnic", groups that dANd refers to, are outnumbered by the Hipster/Revolutionary Becky voters in Bushwick, East Williamsburg, etc........
