I can understand why right wing Britons do stupid shit like vote for Brexit

It's not stupid. Being in the EU means being under the thumb of Germany. Not to mention, Starmer has reversed a lot of the "Brexit" moves as things stand, never mind making the UK weaker in terms of self-defense.
