There aren’t many tourist draws, and it wouldn’t surprise me if many US tourists who go there are doing so as add-on day trips while visiting Amsterdam or Paris.I agree, so it makes sense to focus on getting those tourists to Amsterdam (2 Delta flights from JFK per day) and to Paris (also 2 Delta flights from JFK per day) where they probably want to stay. I wouldn't want one of those four flights being cut merely to say an additional destination is being served. As far as JFK being diminished in relevance, I'll believe that when I stop waiting 30+ minutes on taxiways for our turn to take off and/or 30+ minutes upon landing on return waiting for the gate to become unoccupied. |
