Speculative.The point is to get someone in there who would advance Mamdani's agenda. Gonzalez-Rojas's chosen successor is likely in political agreement on most things with Mamdani and would likely vote with him every time. The person he's actually endorsing differs only in the fact that she would be there to serve the people of Gaza in the New York State Assembly. |
