For me e-bikes are a game changer. There are lots of hills, many of them steep, and I couldn’t easily ride to work otherwise.But I don’t ride on sidewalks so my biggest worry is bad auto drivers. They’re an annoyance when in my car but on my bike I really have to be careful. They can be aggressive around me even though I travel mostly at 20-25 mostly along streets that have 25mph limits. Kids under 18 on e-bikes are the biggest pain, especially the ones on the illegal “e-bikes” that travel over 28mph. But they’re kids so they don’t generally upset me. |
