Doesn't the White House have status as an historical national landmark?Not sure, but even if it isn't officially a landmark, people think of it as such. And if so how come there was no public review or due process? I have no problem with rebuilding the interior, altering the exterior would violate it's landmark status. As much as I favor President Trump, I am not completely on board with this, whether tax payers money are being used or not. The White House is a temporary residence for the President, not a castle. Do you understand better now the slogan "No Kings"? This is something King Henry VIII would have done. |
