My rationale is that if Sliwa ends his campaign, Cuomo will get enough conservative, especially Italian, votes.

I say that because the Italian neighborhoods like Maspeth, Middle Village, Howard Beach, and Staten Italy, strongly support Sliwa. If he ends his campaign, I think a percentage of his voters will vote for Cuomo, understanding that it's about stopping Mamdani. And because it's an Italian last name too. This matters in local elections.

Honestly, Sliwa voters should be thinking this way even if he doesn't end his campaign. They should be thinking about beating Mamdani, even if it means voting for Cuomo.
