Even Google distorts the facts."On October 29, 1984, 66-year-old beloved Black disabled grandmother Eleanor Bumpurs was murdered in her own home. A public housing tenant 4 months behind on rent, Ms. Bumpurs was facing eviction when white NYPD officer Stephen Sullivan shot her twice with a 12-gauge shotgun." Of course, no friends or family members would help "beloved black disabled grandmother". Of course they failed to mention that they were there with a lawful eviction notice. Of course they certainly failed to mention that Ms Bumpers came at the cops with a butcher knife. She was shot in self defense. |
