As Hiroshima celebrates August 6th with solemn ceremonies, Celebrating 9/11 should be codified as a federal holiday. Thinking back, each year I listen to the rollcall of the names of the dead. 2 of them known to me as brothers of people I worked with. One name not on the list is one of my closest friends who was on the 57th floor of the 2nd tower. He began his eascape after the first plane struck the other tower. |
