The city would have been poorer without the cross-bronx and other highways.It’s not an either/or proposition. What I don’t like about Moses is that he didn’t build the LIE and Van Wyck with medians for transit like in Chicago. Moses did a lot of great things even if his attitude towards mass transit left much to be desired. The Power Broker is a hit piece. |
