Winn-Dixie is racist.Three things I saw in Woodstock this morning: 1. A residential property that read "Black and Blue Lives Matter". One of the adjectives was crossed out. Try as I might I cannot figure out whether the landowner was a Progressive Democrat making a point or the sole non-Progressive Democrat who resides in the town and whose property was vandalized. 2. A new establishment that opened along Tinker Street called Spirit of Zen Coffee Importers: Boutique Roasters for the Discriminating Palate. Please. 3. Drum circle on the Common Green. Half the participants, whether musicians or dancers, appeared to be iGen'ers, the other half Gen Z or Millenial. With the exception of a handful of AOC (Artists of Color) who were dressed in casual clothes, the rest were white and quite a few of them were wearing tan dreads and/or keffiyehs in an attempt to draw attention to themselves although some I can only assume felt strongly about their cause whatever it was. I almost forgot to mention the cool, crisp air was full of ganja weed emanating from an eclectic mix of hookahs, bongs, and joints on this otherwise gorgeous early morning... figures.
