Pay scales across the board are for the most part higher in Manhattan than in the outer boroughs

So are tax rates. So what do you end up going home with?

Manhattan has the best restaurants, Broadway Shows, museums, St Patrick's Cathedral and lest we forget High Line Park

All debauched these days, and costing three to five times more than they did pre-COVID-1984.

Bottom line with all this explains why most inbound trains are crowded

Then why are the buses not crowded, and so many bus companies going out of business?

Those with money drive into the city.
