Re: Racism

Posted by Easy on Fri Jun 27 18:13:37 2025, in response to Re: Black People Can't Be Racist, posted by Bill from Maspeth on Fri Jun 27 13:01:06 2025.

I didn't watch much of the video, but there is a difference between how the word racism can be used and what it can mean. For many people racism is the same as prejudice. I see those terms as having slightly different meanings, although I admit that the distinction may not have many practical differences. For me racism is the belief that there are differences between races and that those differences make one race superior to one or more other races.

This means that you can like or even love someone of a different race even if you are racist. It also means that saying that you hate someone because they are white/black/Asian isn't necessarily racist.

Using my dictionary definition, it's probably obvious as to which races are the most racist.
