You can drive to the shores of James Bay, the southern extension of Hudson Bay and therefore part of the Arctic Ocean, on the James Bay Road in Quebec. On the Dempster Highway in the Northwest Territories you can drive right up to the shores of the Arctic Ocean itself, same thing on the Dalton Highway in Alaska though you have to take an escorted tour by an oil company to go to the shoreline. |
