Same here. There's even hotels in Radisson. Always a fascinating place. Did some research on it.

There's also gravel roads that take you into the central Quebec boreal forest along the rivers that feed the hydropower generators. Looks stark, if you find *beauty* in it, I'd say it’s worthwhile. However, you need some means to camp (it’s cold) as there's NOTHING out there but an outfitter (provide fuel, which you’ll need, and/or a plane for your caribou hunt) and the camps for hydropower engineers. No chance of anything close to a general/grocery retailer. 4WD IS A MUST. Plus, you'll probably need to dodge HUGE logging trucks (this imparted knowledge is pre-wildfires) as they cannot stop.
