Seriously - check out what's being designed for the hybrids ... those electric motors are actually poised to outperform internal combustion jobbies. The only REAL issue is how do you store the electrons? The really WEAK aspect of electric cars is the STORAGE issues ... THIS is where the "money" should be going - there's GOTTA be better than Lithium Ion storage ...Beyond that, the secondary issue is bringing the electric power grid and its sources up to par to DELIVER those electrons. Whoda thunk LOCOMOTIVE and SUBWAY CAR motors would be the answer? :) |
