What I dont know is what the secret service role is here with Trump in (albeit temporary) custody. The whole world is aware that it was Trump who made the call that he would be arraigned Tuesday. The point is that no one came forward to say that it was BS, thus the police, media and protestors presence. If the police and media thought it was BS, there wouldn't be all that $$$ spent on police OT and all those satellite dish trucks would stay parked. They could have had a cop outside with a bull horn saying to the protesters that showed up that Trump would be a no show. BTW there wasn't that much of a protester presence. Maybe they were smarter than all the rest. |
