But the WTC was built particularly flimsily. The Empire State Building withstood an airplane much better, structurally.

It was the fire that caused the WTC collapse not the impact.

The jet fuel on the 767's caused much more fire damage to the WTC buildings than the B25's gasoline did to the Empire State Building.
