No one is expected to be listening to the gas flowing into the tank especially if theres passing traffic making it impossible to hear.Assuming he knew about the bad nozzle, he should have had that pump out of service in the first place. That happened to my daughter once, The nozzle wouldnt shut off & gas spilled. The mgr wanted her to clean up the spill. She said in as many words, I dont think so & after paying, drove off. |
