Thanks for your insights on the Los Angeles bus scene with its rich and glorious past. The current route and schedule structure on the LA Metro system seem to no longer have a bus line #1, plus skipping plenty of available route numbers though.Metro Los Angeles - Maps and Schedules. One last image item from the Metro Los Angeles Library Archives, and it is a hoot, with this insight. If Colonel Hogan (actor Bob Crane) did finally leave (or escape) from Stalag 13, this SCRTD Flxible bus #6220 would have been waiting for him on the lot, and to ride off on its route #26 (as seen on the front sign).  -William A.
