I'm not sure that we've concluded that we disagree on whether, as a matter of policy, abortion should or should not be allowed and at what point - I've been careful not to take a position on that in this discussion. The sole points I'm making are that there is a civil government interest in whether and when abortion should be allowed, and that there's no constitutional bar to government passing laws in accordance with that interest.Once those two points are established, government may decide to allow abortion on terms similar or even more lenient than those in place today, or to restrict it still further - reasonable people can disagree on what should be the case based on any number of factors, and whatever my personal view is on this point has nothing to do with the two primary points I made.
