My main problem with the entire mask thing is the lack of metrics, at least any made known to the public.Why is now the right time? Why not last week? Why not next week? Why not when the death rate is lower than now, or why not when it was higher than now? Nobody asked the big questions - like what case rate or death rate is tolerable, and what isn't? This is the main reason why the masks are political - there's no metric to target, and presumably never was. |
