for example, look at the Desantis controversy in Florida and who was wearing a mask to oppose him.

Masks are very much be used to express one's views on politics.

Many Leftists post here but they're mostly old now so I don't know how they behave in public but younger Leftists most likely will wear a mask as much as possible and welcome conflict and debate.
