Before I was promoted in 2005, I was told that they had to promote "someone" ahead of me. I got the money but not the title. Supposed that the head of my dept. had come out and said that we are promoting xxx not because he's the most qualified but because he is black? Do you think the people in his shop would respect him or work for him? |
