IMO deBlasio is just another pretentious ass who was definitely unqualified. I'll never forget how he got angry when Bloomberg told him how he had an ideal negotiating position with the unions, because all the contracts were up. Hey stupid, you represent the city's interests, not the unions.

I'm not sure I would want those problems over the current "lunacy". The fiscal crisis meant a ton of cutbacks and a ripe environment for far more trouble.
