My problem is I don’t want to see every case of prosecutorial discretion turn into Obstruction of Justice charge as I said earlier. Speedy trials can only happen because of plea deals on other cases and the only way that will continue is if prosecutors are not worried that the next one they make will turn into trumped up charges against him/her/them. For reference, here is the Georgia law. |
