If she committed the crime of obstruction of justice as defined under Georgia law, she should be convicted of it. I'm sure her lawyers can get an almost totally white jury like the Arbery defendants got, so there's no worry about a wrongful conviction.* She'd only be convicted if the case was solid.* Cynical comment not reflecting my actual views about Georgia juries but reflecting the expected right wing commentary if she were to be convicted. |
