A frequent misconception among blue lives matter proponents. Is resorting to force solely on the basis of non-compliance in Dayton's police procedures? Police officers are authorized to use reasonable force in response to citizen resistance/aggression/non-compliance when necessary to protect life, property and to maintain order. From Dayton Police Department General Order Sect. 3.03-2 Use of Force Please enumerate which lives, property or order was in jeopardy by Mr. Owensby remaining in the car until supervision appeared. |
