While it is good professional practivce to have a supervisor respond to the scene if a person requests it, it's not a rulebook requirement. However, it's also true that talking one's way out of being arrested is impossible. Once a cop gets it into his or her head that you're getting locked up, that's exactly what will happen. Nothing you can say or do will change that. |
