Never heard it called anything other than "damned gearshift lever."What I really hated (this was a Chrysler of some kind) is that you couldn't shift into first gear when moving. That made traffic jams a huge pain, and I once stalled out on a 25 percent gradient because it couldn't handle the hill in second and I couldn't shift it to first. |
