In the early-mid 70s I walked from Penn Sta to GCT. Walking sorta zig-zag from the 2 points, I found myself walking along 42 St by Bryant Park. At That time, it was boarded up & every conceivable skell was around there. I just took big steps, no eye contact & kept close to the curb & nothing happened. Never went by their again until the park was re-opened. |
