My Nova had several problems. Within the first 6 months, it overheated (thermostat stuck in the closed position), cracked gas tank filler pipe, where the pipe met the tank & constant pre-ignition. Thats when the engine runs on (dieseling)after its shut off. I was on a first name basis with the shop folks at Roosevelt Chevrolet.
With all that, it met an untimely death when a drunk driver smacked into it while parked on Northern Blvd. Total loss. Off to the auto graveyards along Willets Pt. Blvd.
