Finally, Detroit got their act together, got the junkies off the assembly line & got quality control up to where it should be

When did this happen? Last US car I jad was a 1995 and the thing barely made 137K, with all of the windows going off track and the AC going. Have owned three Toyotas so far; the first two I got well past 200K, no problems with HVAC or windows or rusting or anything major.
