Years ago I'm at a ladies pro pool tournament at Steinway Billiards in Astoria and I'm talking to Shanelle Loraine, a pool pro from Guam.
The pros all had their countries under their name. I noticed during her match earlier under her name at the table it said "Guam". So I asked her, if Guam is part of the U.S. like Puerto Rico, why does it say Guam and not the U.S. Her answer was classic: "I'm not the one who put those plaques up!"
