...as heard from his golf course in Florida. Face it, he's not going to be convicted at any "impeachment" trial. He's not going to be convicted of anything, anytime, anywhere. He's past tense. As cooler heads prevail & time passes, the urge to extract the pound of flesh from him will also pass as do all storms. This one will pass too.
He won't run in 2024. What he'll have following him for the rest of his life is the real, perceived or imagined direct involvement in the Washington Riots and his slowness to react and subtle "praise" of the participants. His legacy is ruined. He joins a few "colleagues", Johnson had Viet Nam, Nixon had Watergate, and Carter has the Iranian hostages. We all moved on then, time to move on now.
