Wheres Gerald Ford now that we really need him? We as a nation cannot turn the page if the Trump melodrama is extended and old wounds are reopened. Biden has a golden opportunity to heal wounds and help the nation move on by insisting that this vindictive charade that passes for an impeachment trial be stopped.Ford pardoned Nixon because he thought it was the best thing for the country, not the party. Trump is being brought to trial to benefit the Dems agenda and the hell with the concept of moving on or healing. BIden promised a competent and compassionate government. He should prove he wasn't lying by ordering a stop to this unconstitutional waste of time happening with this trial. Bottom line here, Trump is out of office, Impeachment power does not apply to ex presidents. Even if a trial happens, it will not reveal anything we don't already know. Keeping a nation divided just to punish Trump will serve no purpose. |
