Think about it: the people who took part in this treasonous raid brought explosives, guns, flex cuffs, and Tasers to the Capitol with them. They constructed a gallows on the Capitol steps (presumably to publicly hang members of Congress who dared to defy Trump's wishes by certifying a free, fair, and legitimate election), vandalized the building, stole mail, computers, lecterns and other items from legislators, committed arson, killed a police officer, and attempted the violent overthrow of the government. Oh, and they brazenly boasted about their actions on social media, complete with pics and video, because they really believe consequences don't apply to them.Imagine what their behavior is like at home around people they know. |
