I haven't seen 30 per 100k in half a year.We've been through this arithmetic before. Here's what 75.7 per 100K means regarding your meeting somebody with infectious Covid. The 75.7 per 100K is 0.0757%. A person is infectious for an average of 14 days. This means 14 x 0.0757% or 1.0598% are infectious at at this time. It also means that 98.9402% are not. If you meet 65 people, then 0.989402^65 or 50% of these people will not have infectious Covid. Alternatively, it means that your probability will be 50% of coming in contact with somebody with infectious Covid. |
