Ruth Bader Ginsburg had three votes against her in 1993, so I assume that republicans have been supportive as well. It got a little more partisan with Roberts, who had 22 votes against. The. Alito had 42 votes against, so even more partisan.Republicans were more supportive of Sotomayor and Kagan, who had 31 and 37 votes against. Gorsuch and Kavanaugh were very partisan. wiki |
